In reply to Deborah Cole. I liked Sam. She reminded me of someone I knew in service. Plus I'm a big, big, big feminist. I've been noticing the lazy shit writing by the men of those studios who can't write a woman character to save their lives. Given the quality of the series, it's maddening. It's my main reason for hating the Ship. It's lazy shit writing to go with the rampant sexism.

I agree with your Afterwards. I appreciate RDAs reason for leaving but you’re correct. Sam should have put on her big girl pants and taken SG1. Or gone to Atlantis with Daniel as her Ancient expert. And Vala was a waste or a good actress.

I’m unable to open SG1’s Alternate Episode Endings. Loved Into the Woods and laughed at the Drunken story. My new one is up at AO3. It’s pre-slash and not a ‘nice- Sam’ story. Too much info?
