Unas Means Never Having to Say You're Sorry

This fic is probably supposed to be a bestiality fic, and while there are several people out there who get off on bestiality, this fic is *not* bestiality. It's a badly-written rapefic (as most of them are, imo) but I think the biggest problem I have with this story is the offensive perpetuation of rape as something easily healed and that the survivor of rape can just go ahead and have sex right after the attack without any problems whatsoever. There is no follow through or reason for the rapes in this story, either. The story's sole purpose is to turn the reader on, thus perpetuating the third offense: rape as titillation.

Summary: Daniel is savagely raped by an Unas-cum-Human rapist, then "rescued" by Chaka, who determines that Daniel is his mate, and after healing Daniel of his injuries, proceeds to rape him(without physical injury), then pass him around to his clan members.

Story:  We begin with Daniel exiting the wormhole under fire. Jack, Sam, and Teal'c are already hidden behind the DHD, firing at Jaffa(supposedly--we're told there is staff weapons' fire but that's all). There's a passing reference to an airman who's just been killed, but there's no mention of the airman's name or what team he belonged to. The description of his wounds is nothing more than the first piece of morbid voyeurism.

Daniel looks for a place to seek cover, but the writer has nothing for him to hide behind. But suddenly, a boulder appears, so the non-existent cover appears and Daniel runs for it...

It's Beretta. This is a minor thing, but it's an example of one of the screw-ups this writer makes:  the lack of research.

So Daniel is running for cover while trying to save his boony, but the rock gets blasted. We're then treated to an injury report. He sees his pals are pinned down and we're told more Jaffa are on the way...

Steeling himself, Daniel dove away from cover to a large log near some bushes.

More of that cover that supposedly doesn't exist... and beyond those bushes, a forest, so Daniel dashes off for that instead. In the woods, he comes across an Unas, whose back is turned to him. Daniel notices (with the Unas' back to him) that he's not wearing a bone necklace. So this means he's a host to a Goa'uld symbiote. With this illogically thin reasoning, he raises his gun to shoot the Unas *in the back*--and more specifically, at the base of the skull. Then the Unas turns around, scaring poor hapless Daniel into firing his gun. We are then treated to a "woe is me, I killed something" narration.

Interrupting Daniel's "Pity, Party of One" is Jack, who breaks silence so he can yell at his idiot archaeologist--someone he can't see:

"Daniel!" Jack called from his hiding place.

"It's all right," Daniel called, his tone flat. "He's dead. I killed hi--"

Daniel is interrupted when the dead Unas' buddy shows up and grabs him, squeezing the breath out of him. Daniel's knocked unconscious and dragged off to a campsite. We get a Scene Shift, and Daniel wakes up somewhere else in the woods. We're given a description of the cave scene from "The First Ones" including Daniel's bonds around his wrists. Instead of *first* noticing that he has no weapon, Daniel notices he's barefoot. The Unas is holding one end of the rope restraint, but he's also eating. I'm not sure if he's eating with both hands or just one.

At this point, Idiot Daniel decides to try and communicate. Why? Well, because he's Daniel, right? Except his talking doesn't go at all well.

The unas growled, a guttural, harsh sound and threw down the scraps of his meal. He stood, towering over Daniel and approached. With a swift movement, he kicked Daniel in the stomach. "Ja FAH!" the unas exclaimed, then kicked him again.

Apparently this Unas can speak Goa'uld. He proceeds to kick Daniel around while Daniel's trying to tell him he's not Jaffa. But the Unas says, in broken English,

"Chaka rival!" He kicked his prisoner again. "Slave to unas now! Slave!"

Daniel is still trying to plead his case but fails, of course. Can't have a sadistic, savage rape if the Unas sees reason, can we? The Unas kicks him again, breaking a rib.

"Slave. Dirty jaffa slave. Slave to me! Goron. Jaffa is slave to Goron. Killed Goron's partner. Dirty slave."

"Gor . . . " Daniel gasped, tried to say the unas' name but he couldn't get enough air. Finally, the pain eased.

And now we have lack of medical knowledge to go with the lack of research. The pain of a broken rib will not ease until it is healed. Period. While there are remedies to "alleviate" the symptoms, simply stating, "Finally, the pain eased" is not one of them.

We get more broken English and Daniel beatings, then Goron the Rapist with the Human Mind decides this isn't enough and rips all of Daniel's clothes off. There's a presumed struggle, except Daniel's not doing anything but curling up on the ground protecting himself. Goron then takes Daniel to...

... an area carpeted by low ferns.

Isn't that thoughtful? Goron continues in his broken English and suddenly the author makes some sad attempt at BDSM because he flips Daniel onto his stomach, says,

"Seed slave. Not jaffa. Human. Seed human now,"

and when Daniel protests, he gets a slap on the ass. Daniel shuts up. I supposed this nonsense is there for us to believe that we're now reading rape fantasy porn.

Goron further exhibits his dominance by throttling Daniel and digging his *five* claws into his throat. Except if the author had actually paid attention to the Unas episodes, he'd know they have four fingers, not five. We're treated to rapid switches of POV, sometimes within the same paragraph, as Goron punctures Daniel with his claws, then turns him over so Daniel can watch, then begins to rape him with savage glee. Literally, savage glee. Daniel can't breathe--broken rib, throttling to near unconsciousness--but he's still able to say "no" and "stop" as he tries to scratch and punch to get away(never mind that someone with a broken rib can't punch all that hard). The Unas laughs at him. This rape is going to be finished. And it takes about another page for it to *be* finished.

As we near the end of the assault that has Daniel bleeding profusely from his throat, his thighs(gore marks from the hands holding him) and ass(enormous bone-hard cock), the Unas stands up like a porn star and lifts Daniel off the ground...

Goron rose up to his haunches and stared down at Daniel's body. The human was pulled along further with the shifting unas, groin to groin. He was impaled and tied with the unas. Daniel groaned at the new pressure this position put on his body, from the inside, deep inside. Goron's phallus had swelled so much it was pressing hard on his prostate.

Except that the author had previously written that the phallus was pressing against Daniel's spine. Just like to mention here that it can't be both.

Anyway, the Olympic porn scene continues when Goron starts coming. He drags Daniel across the ground, with only his shoulders touching the earth, while he's still fucking him. Anatomy lessons are lacking then when the author writes,

All the cum was pumping into his bowels now, like an organic enema. The mighty unas flooded Daniel, filling his intestines. Copious amounts of cum were pumped in, so much that Daniel's lower stomach began to rise. With the new position the blood leaking from Daniel's sac began to flow down his stomach, making red trails toward his navel. Then the trails flowed beyond toward his nipples and finally joined with the bleeding gouges in his neck.

Well... it's hard to pick what's funnier, but the more logical is served here. Aside from the bad anatomy lesson, I'd like to point out that no blood is *leaking* anywhere. It's pouring. Daniel is bleeding to death by this time, but the author seems to think that since he exaggerated on the amount of come and the fact that he could somehow fill all of Daniel's internal organs with it, then he could ignore all that bleeding he's doing. A little blood isn't making red trails from his sac to his throat. It's the other way around. Those gored holes in Daniel's neck and thighs didn't just sew themselves shut. Blood should be everywhere, but apparently the author can't make up his mind just how badly Daniel's been injured. He's more concerned with the image of Daniel hanging by his ass, like a pendulum, from an alien cock. This image is so powerful that we're treated to it again later on when Chaka has his way with hapless Daniel.

Moving on, there's more medical/anatomical stupidity, atrocious use of adjectives, and Daniel is *still* being raped. It goes on and on and on. When Goron is finally finished with him, he drags Daniel to a tree branch and suspends him a foot off the ground. He's about to rape him that way when Daniel asks,

"Again? You'll kill me. A dead slave. Is that what you want?" he asked angrily. "Dead slave? Worthless slave?"

Up to now, all during the multiple rapes, Daniel has gone from consciousness to unconsciousness to the inability to speak. So how the hell is he suddenly lucid while hanging from a tree, bleeding to death? Apparently no one in Mitch H.'s fics ever suffers from shock and trauma. Such nasty little buggers, getting in the way of a good rape and torture.

Goron laughs again and Daniel tries to threaten him with the impending rescue he's sure will come from his friends, but his rapist ignores him and begins to breach him again. But all hope is not lost. Chaka comes crashing through the woods and he kills Goron with a "staff weapon," which lets us know at least that this is a season 5 story.

So, Daniel's rescued, but Chaka does *not* like the smell of Goron's semen on *his* Daniel. He orders his mates to cut the rope, then he tosses widdle Daniel over his shoulder and Daniel blacks out for a while, then wakes up, blacks out again, but he's coherent enough to think this little gem: "He felt like a child in Chaka's strong arms"

What that does is reinforce the idea that Daniel's a helpless boy. Further, when he tries to talk, he can't. He can only make baby sounds, which earns him more caring, nursing sounds from Chaka. The metaphoric images this brings to mind are deeply disturbing.

Moving on, they finally bring him to their cave, where he passes out on a nice soft bed of furs. I'm wondering if Daniel was already conveniently passed out before, but we're told he is so it sets the next rape scene. But. I'm thinking more sex is about to come, no pun intended, but we get a ridiculous scene from Chaka and his tribe instead.

The author can't make up his mind if these are sentient beings as portrayed on Stargate SG-1, or dumb animals that speak broken English and fuck everything that moves.

Like animals, they lick Daniel's wounds clean. Their spit apparently has magical healing qualities because not only are Daniel's external injuries healed, but so is his internal damage. Not only is his rib healed, but the "ruptured intestines" are healed as well. Ruptured intestines is yet another reason why Daniel should have been dead half an hour before Chaka found him.

Anyway, Daniel wakes up from the cleaning and *initially* doesn't want them doing it, but when he realizes it doesn't hurt, he changes his mind and "allows" it--as if he had any choice to begin with. The author does like his cheap-assed tricks, making us think that suddenly Daniel has all the power. But most importantly, Daniel has to "allow" it--Chaka's licking his balls and rimming him, which is something Daniel really likes when Jack does it to him. All the while, Chaka is telling Daniel that he's his mate. Now, because of all the licking going on, by several other Unas besides Chaka, Daniel's thinking about the medicinal qualities of their spit--oh look, something to take back to the SGC!

The author then has Daniel thinking that perhaps the Unas got their healing abilities from the Goa'uld symbiotes since they...

sprang from the same planet. It was conceivable that the two species had some traits in common.

Nope, falty reasoning and I'm not buying it. There is no basis for comparison of either Goa'uld symbiote or Unas.  The author makes a huge leap without the facts to back it up.  It should be fully explained or left out of the story. What we have in greater detail is the "Licking scene." It is written as foreplay, trying to wipe away the fact that we had just read Daniel getting brutally raped. In effect, *we* were raped right along with Daniel, and now the reader is supposed to forget it happened.

Soon after the justification thoughts from Daniel, we get this:

Tongues probed gently at his hips, more at his inner thighs. Daniel hissed in pleasure. It felt amazing to have so many hands gently touching, lifting, moving him, so many mouths laving him. A tongue swiped across his nipple and he arched in pleasure.

IF this were the first time he'd been touched since arriving on the planet, this could be believable. But after a brutal rape? No. He's being raped again, and you the reader are being sucked into believing otherwise just because the writer wants you to. And since Daniel's experiencing pleasure, what happens next? He gets lifted off the ground for a more thorough cleaning and Daniel panics, telling Chaka he'll kill him. Does Chaka listen? Of course not.

"Dahnieel, Chaka's mate. Chaka not hurt Dahnieel as rival has done."

and then from Daniel we get,

"Good. Yes, don't hurt me," he said, relieved, and feeling suddenly foolish.

Until...

Then the big unas nudged at Daniel's ass hole, his tongue forcing its way inside. Daniel shouted in shock and arched up off the soft pallet. The mouths on him followed his movement this time. They did not restrain him as they had before. Daniel saw the top of Chaka's head as the leader of the band around him dove his tongue deep in Daniel's raped hole.

Aside from the bad descriptions... Daniel's raped hole. The writer wanted the reader to remember, but as a turn-on. Chaka is now claiming, not soothing. He doesn't want anyone's come inside his Daniel that he hasn't authorized. It has nothing to do with Daniel having been raped because he is *still* being raped. Chaka's giving Daniel an enema to make way for his own "seed.")

In sheer bliss Daniel collapsed flat on the pallet. He turned control of his body over to the unas around him.

So, here comes the actual intent of this fic. Having forgotten all about that pesky rape by Goron, Daniel is boneless and loving the attention he's getting as...

One unas began to lick his cock as Chaka's tongue probed deep in his guts.

So, are they fellating and rimming him or disemboweling? Either way, Daniel's getting hard--naturally, he has to, so the author can pretend to the reader that Daniel's not just having a biological reaction, but that he really wants this.

We get another POV change in the middle of a paragraph and Daniel pushes "his cock into the mouth surrounding it." Except, don't Unas have razor-sharp teeth? Never mind. Daniel's getting off on what's happening...

"Yes," he hissed between guttural hums. "Yes." He felt his nuts tighten, and was so glad there was no pain. He was going to come.

This reinforces the message that Daniel's okay with a gang bang since they took away the pain and got him hard. And he tells Chaka to have his fellow Unas stop or he'll come in their mouth. And Chaka, for all his English ability, doesn't understand "come" so Daniel has to use the term "seed" instead, reminding us about Goron, but Chaka decides that "seed" isn't the best word for what he'll do to Daniel, so to soften it up, no pun, he uses the word "essence" instead.

"Mate? Yes. Mate, Dahnieel. Make the mate in this one. Essence! He will be sacred to have the fluid of Chaka's mate!" And that said, the leader dived back to Daniel's ass and pushed his tongue in deeply. With a shout Daniel erupted into the mouth nursing at his cock.

Aside from the pov switch, we have "nursing" -- and on an adult man by a supposedly adult Unas. "Nursing" is the wrong word here. What is the writer trying to say here? I don't know, but it gives me a creepy pedophilia feeling.

Anyway, Daniel goes to happy sleep and when he wakes up, Daniel's fed and petted, then Chaka says it's time to make him his mate. He gives Daniel's cock and balls another tongue bath and Chaka's clan members join in the fun. Even though Daniel is moaning and groaning and liking this part, he resists at the idea of Chaka fucking him.
